FlowerPetals is the first group formed and debuted under Twinkle Project. Created by Rora in 2015, the group covers different Hello! Project groups and units.

Although the group is small, they spend time deciding on which songs to sing next together and everyone has a say in final profiles as well as mixes. All of the art, videos, and mixes are done in group by staff Aya (art and videos) and Maru (audio mixes) - formerly done by Kanko. Their original videos have become one reason the group is known and well enjoyed.

The group's pre-debut in 2015 with 3 members (Rora [leader], Cheonsa [sub-leader], and Pika) was the song Furusato by Morning Musume. A month later, they had an official debut with First Kiss by the Hello! Project unit Aa! The remainder of the year brought SEXY BOY ~Soyokaze ni Yorisotte~/Dosukoi! Kenkyou ni Daitan by Morning Musume and Kobushi factory respectively. Previous Twinkle Project member Mort was to be included in the release of SEXY BOY however had to pull from the release, group and project due to health issues.

2016 brought the joining of 2nd generation member Haruka. One song (Short Cut by S/milegae) was released prior to her official debut however she joined in for the following release, One and Only by Morning Musume '15. The group's 2016 releases also include Sakura Night Fever by Kobushi Factory and their first mini album Christmas Mini Album 2016 which contained 4 traditional Christmas songs, Mama ga Santa ni Kiss Shita, Jingle Bell, Santa ga Machi ni Yattekuru, and Omedetou Christmas

2017 brought the joining of 3rd generation member Namii. Two songs (Utakata Saturday Night! by Morning Musume'16 and I miss you by C-ute) was released prior to her debut however she joined in for the following release in 2018, Dream Road ~Kokoro ga Odoridashiteru~ by Juice=Juice. This would also be the first release in which not all members participated, Pika is absent due to personal reasons. The group also said goodbye to their old mixer Kanko and welcomed the new mixers Maru and Honeydew.

Maru's first and last mix was of Dream Road ~Kokoro ga Odoridashiteru~  by Juice=Juice, after which she left FlowerPetals. Honeydew's first mix was the 2nd release of 2018, Uruwashi no Camellia by Tsubaki Factory. 

 

2020 brings the long awaited comeback, this will also be the year in which Honeydew and Ritsu will join as a 4th generation members. New staff consisting of members will also be introduced: Cheonsa the video editor, Rora the graphic designer, and Ritsu another mixer.
